am si eu o nelamurire si caut o explicatie..

bateria de la ibook-ul meu, dupa ce se consuma si ajunge pe zero el inca mai functioneaza o bucata de vreme destul de mare chiar 30min..  ce insemna asta?? trebuie sa procedez in vreun fel sa ii fac ceva??

Cu siguranta trebuie sa o re-calibrezi!

The battery needs calibration, or it is nearing the end of its useful life.
Calibration should be done when you first use the battery, and every few months after. It
allows the battery to properly calculate how much power is left in the battery.
The battery is a consumable part. It can be charged and discharged only so many cycles
before it becomes depleted and can no longer hold a charge.
Note: The battery calibration procedure as follows:
Plug in the power adapter and fully charge your battery until the light on the power
adapter plug changes to green and the onscreen meter in the menu bar indicates
that the battery is fully charged.
Allow the battery to rest in the fully charged state for two hours or longer. You may
use your computer during this time as long as the adapter is plugged in.
Disconnect the power adapter with the computer on and start running it from the
battery. You may use your computer during this time. When your battery gets low,
you will see the low battery warning dialog on the screen.
Continue to keep your computer turned on until it goes to sleep. Save all your work
and close all applications when the battery gets low and before the system goes to
sleep.
Turn off the computer or allow it to sleep for five hours or longer.
Connect the power adapter and leave it connected until the battery is fully charged
again.

eu ma confrunt cu alta problema, adica una din bateriile mele ale PB-lui meu G4 la 667 face ochestie tare ciudata si anume imi indica fals, adica la modul time arata 12 ore si cand pica dupa relativ 2 ore, pica brusc chit ca imi indica si in procente cam 80 la suta

Daca iti cadea dupa 5 minute desi iti arata 2 ore insemna ca e moarta bateria.

Am si eu o poveste cu bateria de la PB: de vreo doua zile nu se incarca mai mult de o treime indiferent cat sta. Incarcatorul e pe portocaliu tot timpul, dar beculetele de pe baterie nu se “misca” decat daca il bag in priza dupa ce l-am folosit ceva timp.
E moarta bateria mea, are 282 cicluri (cica intre 200 si 300 cicluri se paradeste bateria). Tre’ sa fac o vizita la MacGallery…

altero nu este asa. eu am avut bateria pe la 570 de cicluri si inca mergea 2 h cu cate ceva usor, safari, adium poate si word dar nu alte app grele…

ea mai trebuie calibrata din cand in cand, si eu cred ca daca nu o faci, poate muri mai rpd decat in mod normal…

Am calibrat-o, minim la cate doua luni odata. Din ce am citit, cam asta e viata normala a unei baterii; e facuta in ianuarie 2003, iar eu o folosesc din iunie 2003.
