mailul meu catre ei:
Dear Gravis,
on the 6th of November, around 19:20, I visited the Gravis Store Hamburg City. I wanted to have the 24’’ iMac and possibly (still had to decide) the 2.0Ghz Mac Mini. After climbing up the stairs, I talked to the responsible person about my request (unfortunately I don’t have any employee names written down).
When they wanted to create my customer ID in the invoicing system I wanted to help them by giving my ID to write down name, address and personal details. At first everything seemed OK, but then they noticed that I am Romanian. They took my ID and talked to somebody in the back; then they returned and said it is ok, they didn’t know if Romania is in Europe. I told them that Romania is even member of the European Union, and that I work for a German company, E.On.
Nevertheless, it was not about selling over the Internet in another country (which as far as I know is forbidden by Apple), but selling to a customer that entered the shop. I even told them that I have bought Apple products even in the United States and never had a problem; moreover, I have made several purchases from the Gravis Store in Munich and it was also ok.
My biggest problem is when I wanted to pay: they refused my MasterCard credit card, telling me that they only accept American Express and/or cash. As long as you have the Mastercard logo posted on your website, how could my card not be accepted? Moreover, the guy from sales did not know anything about not accepting MasterCard and he admitted it.
The extremely bad thing is that the iMac was supposed to be a gift for somebody very dear to me. I had to leave empty handed.
I consider the attitude of your employees (except the guy from sales who spoke English - the other guy from sales didn’t) to be very unprofessional and disrespectfull towards foreign citizens and Apple customers. I will also forward this complaint to Apple to hear their side of the story.
Please get back to me on this.
Respectfully yours,

si raspunsul lor:
Dear Mr. ***!
We want to apologize the unconvienience and that you felt unrespectfully treated.
You give us the opportunity to improve our service by coaching the employee in European Union Members.
Actually we only accept American Express cards, EC/Maestro cards and cash.
The posting on our website belongs directly to our online store which is an independent store.
Each Store is equipped with signs concerning the acceptance of Credit/Debitcards - so we are at the entrance and the counter by the checkout.
We´re sorry for the misleading posting at our homepage - it could be more precisely.
Maybe something got lost in translation.
In Germany are a lot of people not -or barely- speaking and understanding English.
Respectfully yours,
Jan-Olaf Braun

Deci, ramane ca-n tren! Asta nu ma opreste sa nu postez reclamatie pe ceea ce am gasit a fi echivalentul Protectiei Consumatorului si sa mai caut niste date de contact catre Apple.
Multumesc tuturor pt raspunsuri si incurajari, voi posta aici daca apare ceva nou.
