Salutare!Sunt nou pe forumul dvs. si as avea o intrebare.Am pe cineva in America care mi-ar putea aduce un iPhone unlocked de la ATT.Intrebarea e urmatoarea, pot beneficia de garantie in Romania?Si nu in ultimul rand, se poate activa cu succes pe orice retea de la noi?

Bine ai venit pe forum. Cum adică “unlocked de la AT&T”? Ori e deblocat și atunci, da, funcționează în toate rețelele, ori nu. Eu bănuiesc că e vorba de oferta actuală AT&T care vinde iPhone 3G fără contract. Adică e tot blocat în rețeaua lor, doar că nu necesită contract/activare la magazin. Nu va funcționa în orice rețea fără jailbreak/unlock. Cît privește garanția,Apple oferă un an garanție internațională.

Multumesc de urare!Probabil am inteles eu gresit treaba cu unlocked si posibilitatea de cumparare fara contract.

Leaked documents reveal that AT&T Inc. will start selling unlocked, no-contract, no-activation-fee iPhones starting in late March—a move it said last summer that it would make, eventually. But if you’re scratching your head, you’re not alone.

The Boy Genius Report has gotten its hands on a presentation from AT&T that says these iPhone “pricing enhancements” will start March 26. The 8GB will go for $599, the 16GB for $699. And the offer is only open to existing customers.

So sure, buyers can simply swap out the SIM card and be off to the races on the T-Mobile USA network—the only other major GSM carrier in the United States and therefore the only other one that can support the iPhone. There’s also Rogers in Canada, which has a GSM network. But it’s unlikely AT&T will lose too much ground to its smaller, less 3G-ified rival nor its cousin to the North.

Trebuie să ai răbdare și să te interesezi din vreme, pentru că nu cred că vrei să-l folosești pe post de iPod pînă iese vreo metodă nouă de hack, să-i poți folosi funcția de telefon.

Apple retail stores as of Thursday are selling unrestricted quantities of the iPhone 3G at the full, non-subsidized price of $599 for the 8GB version and $699 for the 16GB models.

The move follows AT&T’s plans to sell one phone per customer at the full price for existing customers of its service. In Apple’s case however, there is no limit on the number of phones a buyer can purchase, and no need to have an existing AT&T contract.

Activation can completed by the customer at home through iTunes.

While the phones are still technically locked to AT&T service, it is possible (but not supported) to unlock the phones for use with other mobile service providers. In the US, that is largely limited to T-Moble, although that GSM provider does not support the same 3G network the iPhone 3G needs to connect at faster than EDGE speeds.

Apple’s change in sales policy comes as the company is working to sell off remaining inventory to prepare for the upcoming launch of the new 2009 iPhone, expected to be released around the middle of June, possibly at the company’s similarly-timed Worldwide Developer Conference.
