Tocmai sunt pe punctul de a cumpara un Macbook Pro 15.4 late 2009, si as vrea sa intreb cum as putea afla daca este blacklisted, si cum pot verifica efectiv garantia ramasa?
Eventual alte hinturi folositoare, sunt bine venite.

Nu exista un blacklist oficial, dar sunt multe blacklist-uri. Conventia este sa se posteze serial-ul urmat de cuvantul “STOLEN”, astfel incat, daca cauti serial-ul pe Google si vezi un STOLEN langa el in rezultate, te prinzi care-i treaba…

Candva, cand am fost pus si eu in situatia ta, am primit urmatorul raspuns ce mi s-a parut foarte pertinent asa ca l-am salvat:

First of all. Apple Hardware Test.

Here is a list of things to check I compiled. Anything else I should look out for?
01. Check casing for scratches/dents/etc.

02. Check screen for:

.....a) flicker/brightness

.....b) dead pixels

.....c) patches

.....d) look from different angles

03. Test if system runs from the battery.

04. Test speakers for sound by playing music

05. Test keyboard - each key

06. Test sound of the laptop

07. Play CD & DVD in the CD/DVD drive

08. Check usb ports by connecting a usb device

09. Check closing latch and the lid. 

10. Run a few applications and see if its ok.

11. You could also check the battery health (coconut battery)

12. Check if it’s stolen (coconut identity)

13. Verifica dc mai are garantie internationala

14. Verifica dc intra in sleep, si revine (de cel putin 2 ori)

Also check if the iSight cam is working, is the magsafe adapter is working and does it look like its falling apart?. Also is the serial number intact under the battery case and does it pass a quick hardware test.

Sa-l stapanesti sanatos!
In ceea ce priveste garantia nu trebuie sa-ti bati capul, cei de la Noumax sunt de nota 10+! Rapizi, seriosi, in caz de probleme duci/trimiti doar laptopul (doar = nimic altceva, nici macar incarcatorul).

Sa speram ca nu va fi nevoie de garantie, dar am fost placut suprins sa aud chiar de la cineva de la Noumax ca nu e necesar decat laptopul, si nici macar cutia lui.
