The only problem is that Apple simply doesn’t have some keys: the insert key and delete key are the biggest problems for me, and the home, page up, page down, and end keys are also missing. My solution was to install EventGhost, which lets me fake those keystrokes by using Fn key combinations (like some laptops do)
To pair it, first turn the keyboard off (hold the power button until the light goes out.) Start searching for new BlueTooth devices in Windows, then press the power button on the keyboard. Windows will then ask you to type a code on the keyboard.
One: The wireless keyboard would go to sleep all the time and very quickly and the first group of keystrokes wouldn’t register. Eventually, I found that if you turn off “Let computer put keyboard to sleep” under Power Management under Device Manager, then this fixes the problem.
Two: Several Apple keys don’t exist / match Windows, one of them being Delete. This of course was a problem when you have to press ‘Alt-Ctrl-Del’ to log on! Way easier than downloading scripts or aps and re-mapping keys, is to simply use the On-screen Keyboard to log on. To activate it, click a small dial on the bottom left side on the Windows log on page.
