Chiar dacă iPhone 5 nu a fost încă lansat, Orange a dezvăluit, prin vocea CEO-ului global Stephane Richard (France Telecom), că noua generaţie de telefoane Apple va ajunge în ofertă începând cu 15 octombrie.

Cu alte cuvinte, şeful Orange a avut o discuţie cu executivii Apple care i-au transmis această informaţie neoficial.
Ca de obicei, magazinele Orange din Marea Britanie vor fi printre primele care vor comercializa iPhone-ul.
Lansarea smartphone-ului Apple iPhone 5 va avea loc luna aceasta, cel mai probabil pe 23 septembrie. Această dată nu a fost însă confirmată oficial. Apple preferă să păstreze suspansul până în ultima clipă.

In a similar vein, 9to5Mac have done some digging, and they’re certain that Apple is set to announce two new iPhones when the time comes: a totally revamped iPhone 5 with tapered edges, thinner body and a larger screen; and an upgraded iPhone 4 — available both pre- and post-paid.
However, there is a major caveat too:
It appears that the tear-drop shaped iPhone 5 with larger screen and thinner, rounder body is seeing continued design and production delays, at least on one assembly line (Apple has multiple production sources – Pegatron, Foxconn, etc). We therefore think that iPhone 5 will be delayed slightly at the very least and may see shortages all the way into 2012.
The iPhone 5 itself is a sight to behold, we’ve been told. It is impossibly light, yet much firmer than Samsung Galaxy phones which are backed in plastic. The camera rivals point and shoot cameras and will be a major marketing point for this device.
