Macul e clar o alegere mai proasta intrucat ai de-a face cu vendor lock-in. Daca vrei libertate pui mana si-ti construiesti un sistem cu manutele tale de la zero si bagi ce vrei tu in el. Repet, daca vrei. La Mac avem de-a face cu vendor lock-in, compatibilitate selectiva, etc care este atat un dezavantaj cat [cu siguranta] si un avantaj. Cat despre hardware nu vei reusi niciodata sa-mi demonstrezi ca varful desktop-urilor si laptopurilor din punct de vedere hardware bate un PC, nu atata timp cat avem nume precum Enermax, Asus, DFI, EpoX, you name it. Nu vei reusi cu atat mai mult cu cat in ultimul timp Apple a avut probleme la capitolul asta si nu numai din vina altora [Sony exploding batteries]. Sunt prea multi fabricanti brici de enumerat. Nu ma intelege gresit, nu spun ca dpdv hardware macul e codas, dar nu e nici tocmai the cream of the entire crop. Cum zicea si Tudor, omu’ nu-l ia neaparat ca e ultimul racnet in tehnologie [it’s not], ci pentru pachetul software.
Deci reclama, dupa cum spuneam ... de fapt spuneam gresit! Acea duduie nu trebuia sa poarte un pinguin, ci dracusorul ala rosu, asa ca ironie.

p0110, dupa cum am spus, nu am nimic cu tine, in fond suntem chiar compatrioti, nu trebuie sa te simti acum atacat si sa ma fugaresti pe toate topicurile ca o sa incep sa ma simt important. Daca reusesti sa alcatuiesti reply-uri de mai mult de doua propozitii si bine argumentate ar fi de minune, ca sa putem dezbate civilizat si obiectiv.

Puţin off topic, dar e foarte interesant ce spune ECQ:

Typical consumers say: Why save up money myself for a car, when I can get a car for payments of only $400/month? (not realizing that in the end, with the high interest rate, they end up paying 30% more for the car, essentially paying somebody else to organize their money. Why bother having a savings account, when I can pay an affordable monthly fee essentially to have somebody else plan out where my money goes for me? Or, better yet, why flat-out buy a cheaper car I can actually afford when I can get my dream car for a nice monthly payment?

Even think of TiVo—back in the day, people had VCR’s. When they wanted to record something, they’d set up the recording and put in a tape. The only thing you ever paid for was the VCR itself, and the blank tapes (which you could re-use). You could even set up weekly recordings, etc. on a decent VCR. Now, if you go buy a TiVo, you tell it what shows you want recorded and pay a monthly fee for the “service” of connecting to some TiVo servers to tell your DVR what times to record. Why bother thinking when I can pay somebody else an affordable monthly fee to do it for me?

Even think about digital cable and satellites. How many people do you know paying extra to get their local network stations in HD/Digital? When really, all you have to do is stick a cheap ($60 max) antenna on your roof to pick up your local stations for free. But why pay the $60 for an antenna when I can give somebody else $5 a month for the rest of my life to provide me with that access?

Long story short, most people don’t want to do the simple math to figure out how much they’re really spending on things. The only math they want to do is to compare their monthly paycheck to their monthly expenses. That’s why people end up with no money saved. That’s why people end up with huge credit card debt because they were just paying the “minimum monthly payment” apparently thinking it’d save them money.

fishbone nu numai apple a avut de suferit din cauza acelor baterii sony ci si alti producatori. acest lucru nu a umbrit firmele ci producatorul, in cazul nostru sony.
