Late last week rumours surfaced that a red iPod is in the pipeline. This began following a post on Popbitch which claimed that U2 front man Bono was overheard “in Dublin’s Michelin-starred Patrick Guilbaud restaurant discussing a new charity red Amex card and red iPod.” There was nothing to suggest this was more than pure hearsay until Bono today unveiled the aforementioned red Amex card as part of Product Red – a new brand of red merchandise created to help fight the global battle against HIV. The idea is that around 40 percent of the profits received from the sale of these special red products would go to the Global Fund to Fight Aids.
Although Apple hasn’t officially been named as one of the partners in this new charity scheme, we’ve heard that an announcement could soon be on the cards. Stay tuned for more details.
Chestia e ca trebuie sa faca display-ul mult mai rezistent la zgarieturi decat modelele actuale. Pentru ca dai ce dai cu degetul pe ecran si oricat de curat ai fi tot ramane ceva grasime; pe care trebuie s-o stergi des ca sa poti vedea filmul bine.
Ceva similar cu ecranul telefoanelor; pe al meu il sterg de haine si nu are nici o zgarietura.
Daca se implementeaza mai repede transmisia digital terestra (DVB-T) in Ro si daca viitorul iPod va avea suport pentru aceasta norma, poate ne vom uita pe iPod la stiri, filme, sport, in direct, chiar in autobuze sau pe strada.Who knows?!
Oricum tendinta generala este sa includa cam tot ce are nevoie omul modern in materie de entertainment si nu numai: aparat foto, camera video, player de muzica, player video, transmisii de voce si date. Adica un fel de All-In-One. Cred ca spre asta se indreapta si iPod-ul.
Punctul slab al ipod-ului pana acum a fost display-ul. Atat timp cat era un mp3 player (si doar atat) ecranul era ok. Dar cele mai dese comentarii negative le-am auzit referindu-se la ecranul minuscul, e.g. “Vrei video iti iei un Archos”. Sigur, nu erau comparabile, dar ecranul nu era suficient pentru ce imi doream eu de la un ipod video.
Acum daca ipod-ul va fi mp3 player, Personal Digital Assistant, Digital Photo Frame, video player, si cine stie, video si audio streamer, toate cu un design atat de cool si un ecran puternic si rezistent, chiar nu vad cum ar mai putea exista “ipod killer"s!
As mai pune pe lista de dorinte pentru G6 grosimea. M-am speriat cat de subtire era nano cand am pus mana prima oara pe el, dar nu mi-am inchipuit pana la intalnirea macuser cat de subtire si flimsy (for lack of a better word) e G5! Eu cred ca e timpul ca ipodul sa fie un pic mai grosut, oricum cu ecranul ala gigant (si touchscreen) nu cred ca se mai pune problema doar sa-l bagi in buzunar! Pentru a face fata unui asemenea ecran, si bateria va trebui sa fie puternica deci locul nu ar fi gol! Sper din toata inima sa nu apara specificatiile cu “Up to 2.5 hours for video on built-in LCD”! si 7 ore audio cu ecranul stins.
In concluzie, ipod rulz dar cred ca G6 va fi cel mai bun ipod de pana acum!
Apropos - pentru cei care au iPod photo sau video - un cablu “compatibil” A/V out (jack cu 4 sectiuni intr-o parte si 3 rca-uri in partea cealata) de 1.5m au la Kaufland cu 7.99 RON
