Care-i problema?

actually its not stupid, its a very smart publicity stunt… the person that bought it is an owner of a cellular aftermarket company (http://www.certicellusa.com/) and he’s going to get publicity that would have cost him several times as much as a car and three iphones…  the person that unlocked the iphone is mentioned on cnn and has been all over tv the past few days… so the person that bought it will surely get enough publicity for himself and his company…. proof that we shouldn’t speak before we think and get our facts straight smile

Off…, ce topic cu discutii aprige. Dar cam prost cu “subtritarea”, da lipsa… Noroc ca era “filmul” in engleza, ca daca era in germana…, schimbam canalul!

Chestia cu negotul priving iPhon-ul, cred ca noi in Romania suntem in urma…

blackbook, first of all it’s illegal to decode your phone. if that guy was on cnn, he should get some problems. second, it’s all about the money, like i said before: everyone buys an iphone so they can sell it forward for more money. what’s the matter, don’t they like the “internet communications device” anymore? smile

besides, that deal makes no sense. the guy who owns the company is american. he allready had 3 iphones. why not use a cheap hack and get the same thing???

ONCE AGAIN YOUR WRONG!!!  It’s not illegal to unlock your phone, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!!
Even in the US there is a exemption in the DMCA (Digital Millenium Copyright Act) that allows you to unlock your phone:

‘‘Computer programs in the form of firmware that enable wireless telephone handsets to connect to a wireless telephone communication network, when circumvention is accomplished for the sole purpose of lawfully connecting to a wireless telephone communication network.’‘

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DMCA

Secondly, prices are based on supply and demand.  Maybe you can take a quick economics lecture to help you understand this…  Yes people do buy iPhones and sell them directly for money, because they are making a profit on it especially outside of the US.  I for fact have bought two iPhones until now, knowing fully that the person selling it to me is making good money.  I was still happy with the sale (knowing that the turbo sims were sold out worldwide and selling 500$+ on ebay) and was able to sell one of my phones to make back some of my cost on my other iPhone (WHICH IM CURRENTLY TYPING FROM) and like I said plan to keep until something better appears on the market, because in my opinion and several others, this is the best device currently on the market.

Just give up please!  Or atleast think your next comment through and maybe do a little bit of research!

seeing that you edited your post and added the comment of why he doesn’t do the hack himself….
Once again and again, if u read my answer above to your previous comment, its more of a publicity stunt (ADVERTISING = LOTS OF MONEY).  He’ll be known as the owner of a company that bought the second unlocked hardware iPhone from the 17 year old kid that was all over the news…

and of course, the reason everyone is hacking is because they want to “connect to another wireless network”, huh? go sell your donuts in another place smile.
