Last week Steve Jobs announced plans to release the iSandwich, Apple’s new attempt to tap into the snack foods market.
“For years people have been buying sandwiches,” announced Jobs, “but until now they haven’t been able to buy a sandwich with the Apple logo on it. We want to give them that option.”
The iSandwich will be small, rectangular and white and will retail for $275. It is available in iCheese and iBLT varieties and there is an optional $90 iCrisps package to accompany it, although iCrisps is not compatible with any other sandwich.
