am si eu o problema….am leopard de curand si am un lexmark 3500-4500 series.
am instalat softul pt mac,totul ok..cand vreau sa printez ceva imi da eroare si se inchide….mi-a facut asta de cateva ori,dupa acees am deschis disk utility si am vazut ca sunt ceva probleme pe acolo dar din pacate nu ma pricep prea bine si nu inteleg ce inseamna erorile alea,poate ma ajuta cineva.
am atasat documentul cu ce mi-a scos “verify disk permision”

Cum ai instalat „softul pt mac”? a. Din dvd-ul Leo (nu mai țin minte dacă lexmark are driverele incluse acolo, parcă da) sau b. din cd/internet? Dacă e b, atunci - probabil - sînt drivere mai vechi, incompatibile cu Leo (te asigur că multe drivere vechi, gîndite pt Tiger, NU merg în Leo). Dacă dvd-ul de Leo nu are driverele pt Lexmark, vezi pe internet și să scrie expressis verbis că sînt compatibile cu Leo.
deci leo am dvd original.
la imprimanta la fel,cd cu drivere original….pe tiger cand il aveam imi mergea perfect imprimanta.
modelul e 3500-4500 series,ce drivere ar trebui sa caut?

problema e ca am folosit repair disk permisions si cand am verificat din nou imi arata ca au ramas urmatoarele erori:

asta ce inseamna,mi-a stricat ceva in sistem?

Deloc nu citești atent ceea ce am scris. Spuneam, tocmai, să NU folosești driverele mai vechi pt Tiger, ci PE CELE NOI depe dvd-ul cu Leo. Bagi dvd-ul cu Leo, Optional Installs, mergi mai departe și alegi driverele pt Lexmark. Dacă tot nu merge, suspicionez conflict între driverele mai vechi și cele noi, ca atare reinstalează sistemul și, la instalare, faci instalare custom și alegi NUMAI driverele pt Lexmark.
am instalat driverele de pe dvd-ul cu leo cum mi-ai spus si am incercat sa printez iar,nu mai da eroarea acees,inainte cum selectam print imi dadea eroare,report to apple si se inchidea tot.
acum imi deschide in bara de jos imprimanta dar foaia tot nu o scoate.imi arata operation stopped…ceva de genul.
am dat din nou verify disk permisions si imi arata din nou acele mesaje:

Dai degeaba „Verify Disk Permissions”, nu are a face cu necazul tău.
Singura recomandare care îmi vine în minte ar fi să faci o instalare curată a lui Leo, eventual pe o partiție externă, dacă ai un asemenea disc, și să vezi dacă merge cu driverele de pe dvd-ul cu Leo. Dacă nu merge, Bug Report la Apple. Acuma, cu mintea mea a proastă, zic că dacă au pus driverele alea pe dvdu lu Leo le-au testat și ei, nu? Sau nu le-au testat?! Nu m-aș mira. Cîte imprimante or fi în total pe lumea asta? Din astea, cîte or avea suport pt Leo?
nu,problema e ca pt modelul meu de imprimanta lexmark inca nu ofera driverele pt leo,am vazut pe pagina de mai sus ca vor fi disponibile dupa 24 dec 2007,acum o sa astept.

Tot ce ai mai putea face, pînă atunci, ar fi să încerci Gutenprint (vezi că e o versiune nouă, de vreo 2 zile). Nu ai ce pierde (atenție, citește cum se instalează). Nu rareori, rezolvă probleme altfel nerezolvabile. Posibil să alegi un driver manual. De ex., pe tiger, a mea Brother hl-2030 nu avea driver, dar mergea, ales manual, cu ăla de 2060. Ia încearcă și tu așa, poate se potrivește. În cel mai rău caz, mai consumi niscai hîrtie, Pune acolo ciorne și vezi.
