Parallels Desktop 6 for Mac
ISSUE
I had Parallels Desktop 5 running on my Mac OS X Snow Leopard and was able to run my Windows virtual machine based on a Boot Camp partition without any problem. Then I decided to upgrade to the new Mac OS X to Lion and also had to upgrade Parallels Desktop for Mac to version 6.
Since then, the virtual machine starts with the following error message:
The Boot Camp partition “/dev/disk0s3” used by Hard Disk 1 is not supported. Please open the virtual machine configuration and select a supported Boot Camp partition in the Hard Disk 1 settings.
CAUSE
The Boot Camp hard disk number on Mac OS X Lion differs from the one you had in Snow Leopard.
RESOLUTION
Please perform the following steps:
Click on ‘Virtual Machine’, choose ‘Configure’, go to ‘Hardware’ and select ‘Hard Disk 1’.
Choose any other Hard Disk source from the list and do not save the changes.
Then go to the list again and choose your Boot Camp partition hard disk.
Save the changes, close the configuration window and try to start your virtual machine.
Nu m-a lamurit foarte mult, pentru ca nu stiu cum sa intru in “Virtual Machine”
